My name is Theophanes Avery and I am an author, writer, and blogger. This blog is my attempt at giving back to a wonderful community of writers who have worked hard and been wonderful to me. In my own publishing journeys I have learned that reviews and any media coverage can make or break books sales so I decided to write a review here for every book that I read. It’s my way of paying it forward. I can’t guarantee they’re all independently published but I do favor those that are and occasionally wander into the weird or historical when my fancy strikes.
I love to read mostly fiction but you’ll see I also dabble in a whole host of non-fiction topics including history, gender, and science. My choices in fiction are just as varied from dark fantasy, to sci-fi, to satire. I like it all!
