If you asked even just a few years ago if I would ever be a voice actor I would have looked at you like you had three heads. This was not something that I was pining to be ever since I was looking out of my grade school classes wishing for escape. No, this is something that very much came to me through other things I was doing. First, I became an author whose first two books were about my life and then I had a series of friends and loved ones tell me I needed to make these very same stories into audiobooks and there could only be one narrator. I laughed but eventually they wore me down and I found myself producing my own audio books.
I admit it was rough at first, but I learned the ropes quickly and enjoyed the process so much that I am now offering my voice to other authors. So far, this work has been absolutely wonderful, and I look forward to the next project! Below are some samples of my work.
Satire: An Enthusiastically sarcastic voice telling a humorous story about art History
Serious Fiction: A quiet intense scene
Personal Experience/Satire – and coincidentally a second story involving art history.
Science Fiction. First Chapter of Micheal Crichton’s Congo:
