I must admit that I have written almost nothing in the past three months. I did really well writing a book a month until I burned out and got depressed at the state of my life and the world. These are intense times to live in and it can destroy you if you let it. I needed a little kick to start moving forward again. That came in the form of several friends working on their own writing projects. Oooh, OK, I’ll get back into the game. I am after all sitting on three full manuscripts and several partial ones! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I decided to go over Milking the Cat<\/em> one more time and order a proof. It came in today and I must say – it’s gorgeous. I don’t have any spare change right now to spend on someone else making me a cover so I used a photo I took myself, a filter I applied, and drew some wonderful 60’s inspired bubble letters for the title and author name and I LOVE IT. When it came in I nearly squeaked! It captures the fun and sarcastic mood of the book perfectly. <\/em> I know your first book is supposed to be the biggest deal but this second book feels a lot better to me. It’s a different side of me, the more playful happy side I enjoy quite a bit more. And I don’t know, I think this might reflect well. Maybe the positive feel it has to it will draw more people into reading it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am already making plans to release a bunch of “live” videos on all my various platforms of me reading a chapter here and there to get people’s engagement in it. It should be a lot of fun! I am feeling very positive and upbeat once again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
